Through Backward Region Grant Fund (BRGF), the district administration, with the assistance of a private coaching institution of Raipur, has made a unique effort to give coaching to these children at local level in Narayanpur.

The district administration, in view of shortage of teachers in Maths, Science and English subjects in most of the government higher secondary schools, has given full attention on the study of children who have scored highest marks in 11th standard examination.Collector Yashwant Kumar said that due to lack of proper guidance, children from government schools either did not participate in the PET, PMT and other competitive examinations or make better preparation for it. Effective efforts have been made to impart coaching to these talented children, he added.

Assistant Commissioner, Tribal Development, GR Sori said that an Action Plan has been prepared under BRGF for the study of meritorious students from Narayanpur district in maths, science and English subjects. They would be imparted coaching at local level in Prayas Vidyalaya.
