The railway has completed preparations to run train on Bhind-Etawah route from next month. The commissioner of railway safety is coming to Bhind for inspection of track on February 28.
After the inspection the way to run the trains on this route would be clear up so that the railway can run the goods trains on this route.
The CRS would inspect that track from Bhind to Itawaha. On getting green signal from CRS the passengers train would start to run on this track. To run the train on this route the trains from Jhansi to Kanpur can be passed through Gwalior-Bhind.
The passenger’s trains from Gwalior to Bhind can be extended to Kanpur.The chief commercial manager of North Central railway DK Tripathi would come to Gwalior on Friday. Tripathi would conduct the inspection of Gwalior station and would leave for Allahabad in the night.
On receipt of information of visit of Tripathi the catering staff has been asked to improve the quality of food. Earlier, fortnight ago Tripathi slashed the contractor for inferior quality of food and coffee.
Tripathi also ordered to take action against stand contractor of plat form no; 1. The stand contractor had recovered Rs 20 in place of Rs 10 for keeping a car of railway officer and also misbehaving with him. On complaint the RPF caught the contractor who was later released on tendering apology.
