Suparno Satpathy, grandson of former Chief Minister late Nandini Satpathy, who resigned from the Congress on Friday, joined the Aama Odisha Party (AOP) on Saturday.
Satpathy had, in his resignation letter to the Congress president Sonia Gandhi, virtually blamed PCC president Jayadev Jena and Union Minister Srikant Jena for “the rapid downslide of the party in the State” without naming them.
