Plus II students of the St Xavier’s International School, Chandrasekharpur, on Friday staged a demonstration in front of the school alleging that their CBSE Plus-II final exam papers were not appropriately evaluated.
The students lamented that while the half of 220 students who took the examination failed, 70 were categorised as compartmental. Only 40 students passed with very low marks. Students have secured zero marks in many subjects, they informed.
Surprisingly, two among the failed students have cracked the IIT Mains examination and have appeared for the IIT Advanced examination.
Meanwhile, the school authorities have alleged that the students vandalised the school building during their protests. The Chandrasekhar police reached the spot and prevented students from entering the school
premise. The police refuted school authorities charges that students resorted to vandalism.
