After assuming the office on Friday, Odisha Khadi and Gramodyog Board Chairman Tejeswar Parida said his top priority would be to promote khadi and gramodyog products by holding road shows and opening exclusive counters at the Biju Patnaik International Airport.
Talking to mediapersons here Parida said, “Road shows will be conducted to familiarise the khadi products in other Indian cities and exclusive counters will be opened at the Bhubaneswar airport where foreign tourists and delegates can access these items easily.
KBK districts will be given priority to create job opportunities by promoting the khadi and other Odisha rural agro products along with strengthening the district level khadi centres.”
He also informed that he would ensure filling up the vacant posts in the board and creating model Khadi centres in different districts.
