Registration of families on Samagra Portal in full swing

Saturday, 21 June 2014 | Staff Reporter | Bhopal

All people and families in the State and their details are being registered on Samagra Portal. The database of families will be used for transparent and easy implementation of various beneficiary-oriented schemes.

For this, an intensive campaign is underway in all urban and rural bodies to register families and their members. Gram Rozgar Sahayak’s in rural areas and ward in-charges in urban areas have been appointed as registrars, who will be responsible for registration, updation and deletion of families on Samagra portal. Directives in this regard have been sent to all collectors (District Mission leaders) and CEOs of Zila Panchayats (Deputy Mission leaders).

Director, Madhya Pradesh Samagra Social Security Mission Sanket Bhondve informed that families not yet registered on Samagra portal will have to fill up form and submit the same to Samagra Registrar. The necessary information to be provided in the form will include self-attested affidavit regarding age, residence, domicile, disability, BPl, and labour class. After verification of this information, an 8-digit Unique Samagra Family ID will be provided to concerning family. Each member of the family will be provided a 9-digit Union Samagra Member ID.

Registrars posted at Janpad Panchayats or urban bodies will download details about Panchayat-wise and ward-wise registered families from population register and maintain them in their computers. After publication, this list will also be noted down in registers. Necessary precautions will also be taken in case of duplication of Samagra ID of any person.

Samagra Registrars will tally details of registered persons and families from population register and delete those who have been registered more than once. In case of birth of child or death in a family, Samagra Registrars will include child’s name and delete name of the deceased on the basis of self-attested affidavit.

Registrars will ensure registration of all families residing in areas under their jurisdiction on Samagra Portal and certify that all families and their members have been registered on Samagra portal. Concerning registrars will be held responsible for any irregularity in the matter.
