Ragini MMS 2, the sequel of creepy horror movie Ragini MMS evoked a good response in the city. The theatres whether multiplex or single screen theatres went almost housefull on the first day of the film release.
Sunny leone starrer movie Ragini MMS 2 was made under the banner of Balaji Motion Pictures and AlT Entertainments. Produced by Ekta Kapoor and directed by Bhushan Patel, the movie is all about loud music and few creepy scenes.
The plot of the movie is kept simple. The film begins from where its prequel Ragini MMS ended. Ragini MMS revolved around a young couple Ragini and Uday, who went to an isolated house for a weekend and the creepy and paranormal happenings that took place with them there.
In this movie, Ragini has been sent to a mental asylum and her boyfriend Uday is missing. The incident garners attention of a filmmaker Rock played by Parvin Dabas, who wants to make a film on this incident.
He signs an actress named Sunny played by Sunny leone to play the lead role of Ragini. In order to make the film more realistic, he decides to shoot the film in the haunted bungalow where the incident had taken place. As the shooting begins, spine chilling horrific incidents start taking place. These paranormal incidents leave the cast and crew shaken and surprised. Everyone wants to get rid of the place but Rock’s passion and the consequences do not permit them to leave the haunted bungalow before finishing the shooting.
As a result, all the crew members including Sunny are chased by the horrific incidents. Though, before the release of the movie, the film grabbed much attention. Two feet tapping tracks Baby Doll and Chaar Botal Vodka already became famous among the music lovers. As far as story concept is concerned, few incidents really make the audience feel the horror.
The motive of Ekta Kapoor for signing Sunny leone is fulfilled. In the name of acting she has not done any great job, but has done what she is famous for. If she would have done a little more, Ragini MMS 2 would have been an adult movie. Director Bhushan Patel also did not play much a great role. According to Bhopalites, the movie is neither a great horror movie nor a movie which could be watched even on television. Still, it received a good opening.
