Collector Mukesh Bansal has asked the chief executive officers of all Janpad panchayats to plant maximum saplings of different species supplied by the Forest and Horticulture departments in their respective areas.
In the time-bound meeting held at the Collectorate here, the collector reviewed the progress of disposal of pending letters and complaints received by all departments.He directed the officers to dispose off pending letters soon and sought information about the completion of pending works of 2012-13.Seeking information about renewal of ration cards in Kharsiya, the Collector said that eligible persons should not be deprived of ration card and special attention should be paid to name and address of the person entered in the ration card to verify if they were true or not.
He directed to take stringent action against those who have got prepared fake ration cards by furnishing wrong information.The Collector said that honorarium of all ‘Mitanins’ should be paid by July 31.He directed the Assistant Commissioner that under the DBT scheme, scholarship amount of students should be deposited in their bank accounts directly.
Bansal told the Education Department officials to furnish written information about the under-construction school buildings, electrification of schools etc in the district in August.The Collector asked to submit Village Panchayat-wise information on shops constructed and the remaining ones in Sarangarh Janpad Panchayat under BRGF and Infrastructure Scheme to the Janpad office.
He directed the Social Welfare Department to ensure payment of widow, destitute and social security pension through bank and if bank is available within 3 km area, otherwise through village panchayat and post office.
