A one-day workshop organized by NRHM on World No Tobacco Day was concluded at RCH Conference Hall, Ranchi on Friday. In the workshop Director, Deputy Director, Additional Director of Health Services, Jharkhand, all state level advisors or co-operative officer, members Development Partner SEEDS participated as participants.
The workshop was conducted under the supervision of National Rural Health Mission Jharkhand Campaign Director Ashish Singhmaar. While addressing in the workshop campaign director Ashish said, for eradicating the consumption of tobacco all government departments including Education, Information Broadcasting, Finance, Home, Commerce, Agriculture, Rural development among others, will have to work together in a planned way.
He also emphasized on stricter implementation of anti tobacco products the cigarette and other tobacco products act in an effective manner.
