Senior Congress leader and Balangir MlA Narasingha Mishra, who underwent a successful bypass surgery in Mumbai, would return to Odisha on June 3.
Mishra, who was admitted to the Apollo Hospital in Bhubaneswar on May 26 after feeling uneasy, was diagnosed with blockage of artery by the doctors during his treatment.
Following the advice by the doctors, Mishra was flown to Mumbai on May 27 where he underwent successful surgery at the Asian Heart Institute the next day. Doctors cleared the three blockages from the artery, sources said. His condition is now stable, the sources said, adding, Mishra would return to Balangir on June 3. After taking rest for a few days, he would resume his normal duty.
