House Allotment System now has a link

The Internet-based House Allotment System of the UT Administration has expanded its functionality for the allottees of Government houses in the Union Territory of Chandigarh.

The website now provides a link “Accounts Statement-Government houses” which would enable the allottees to access the accounts statement of house rent/licence fee online. The House Allotment Committee of Administration looks after the allotment of all these houses to the employees of UT Administration, Haryana Government and Punjab Government as per the eligibility criteria. last year, the UT Department of Information Technology, House Allotment Committee and National Informatics Centre had launched the web based house allotment system.  This online system provides information on 12,500 houses categorised in over 20 types.

 The system enables the users to seek information about type wise list of houses, allotted houses during last 30 days and also helps the user to know about the existing vacant houses. Prerna Puri, UT Secretary House Allotment Committee (U) said that in its previous version the web based house allotment system had provided a unified interface to all the users for accessing information pertaining to accommodation, it also enables the users to generate seniority lists and vacancy reports. Now, with this major upgrade, the allottees of Government houses would be able to easily view the Accounts Statement of House rent/licence fee, being deducted from their salary.

She added, “The web based House Allotment Committee enables the users to get details of the House Rent/licence Fee. The information can be accessed by clicking on the link titled “Accounts Statement of Government houses” on the official website of Chandigarh Administration(http://chandigarh.gov.in).” The House Allotment also urged the users to have a look at the license fee pertaining to their accommodation. In case any correction is required by the user, the information may be submitted to the Office of Assistant Controller (F&A) Rent in the UT Secretariat Building at Chandigarh. The name and mobile number of the officers/officials who deals with the licence fee accounts is also available on the above said link.
