Minister for Health and Family Welfare Amar Agrawal here on Friday reviewed the progress of various ongoing development works in the city.
He urged the concerned officials to ensure that the traffic are well regulated, repairing and widening of roads are done, parking lots are used properly and there was no illegal encroachment.Asking the officials to make the city well organised and beautiful for the convenience of general public, the Minister also directed them to complete the ongoing works within the scheduled time-frame and see that the quality of work is not compromised.
Speaking on the beatification of the city and the traffic related issues, he said action should be taken against illegal encroachment, parking and the illegal road side vendors as per law.
The places which are earmarked for specific purposes must not be utilised for other work, he said.Agrawal also reviewed the ongoing road construction work carried by out the Public Works Department (PWD) in the city.He directed the officials to complete all the ongoing works such as repairing and widening of road between Sipat Chowk to Mopaka, construction of drain, construction of bypass road at Koni Mopaka, construction of stadium, link road and other works.
He also urged the officials to give priority to works like railway over bridges, and road widening work in time.
At the end of the meeting the District Collector Siddharth Komal Singh Pardeshi assured that the administration will carry out the works as per the guidance and advice of the Minister.
