learning is a continuous process and if it goes comprehensively, it fructifies in a profound way. Keeping in view this statement, DPS Balco at the beginning of the new session organised an orientation programme for the parents, guardians and students of standards IX and X, a statement of the DPS informed on Saturday.

The educative programme was divided in two halves. There were more than 120 parents, guardians and students participating in each of the one-and-a-half hours flourishing sessions.

The well executed programme commenced with the introductory speech given by Shubhra Choudhury, the examination head, where she threw light mainly on the evolution, purpose and the other advancements related to Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) system. However, her main objective was to ensure parents are aware of the basics related to CCE and their confusions cleared.

Pradeep Kumar, the other important member of the orientation team, took up the related issues in detail. Kumar, with relevant examples, presented the evaluation system in depth. He emphasised on co-scholastic areas under the CCE. Manoj Pede was the next who continued with further details about the CCE. He said, “CCE provides equal opportunities to all.”

Kailash Pawar who has been an inspiration and guide to everyone involved in the learning spree also stated, and at times clarified, the presenter’s views in easy and approachable language to the audience. He extended his heartfelt elation and gratitude to the parents and guardians for their optimistic participation in the orientation programme.

“Each individual is born with some or the other qualities and at the same time he is different than the other; CCE facilitates teachers to delve into the individual’s needs and programme his teaching techniques according to the student’s capacity, demand and desire,” said Kailash Pawar, the principal of the school.
