Guna Police on Thursday nabbed notorious criminal Kashmira alias Kashmir Singh Jat who carried a reward of Rs5,000 on his head and recovered a gun of 315 bore and two country made pistols of 315 bore, besides a motorcycle without registration number from his possession.
The Guna police acting under Superintendent of Police Prem Singh Visht drive to curb crime and made the district fearless have started rounding off criminal elements.
On Thursday, Additional Superintendent of Police Suman Gurjar, City Superintendent of Police (CSP) Antar Singh Kanesh and Town Inspector (TI) Fatehgarh Ramveer Singh Kushwaha got information through the informer that dreaded criminal Kashmira alias Kashmir Singh Jat (45) resident of village Richera would pass through the way of village Kansal under Fatehgarh police station.
Addl SP Guna was informed about the tipoff and the TI Cant Fatehgarh Anil Singhal was instructed to reach Fatehgarh with the force available in his police station.Three police parties were made to arrest the accused rewardee including the one headed by Cant TI with his police station staff, second party was headed by Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Ramchandra Shakya while the third one was headed by TI Fatehgarh Ramveer Singh Kushwaha with his staff.
All the three parties reached the spot told by the informer and took position. After a while two motorcycles were seen coming from village Kansal side with three persons sitting on each bike.All the six persons were carrying guns. When the police parties tried to stop the bikes they tried to run away but TI Fatehgarh showing courage stopped bike and in the struggle the bike fell down and all the three miscreants started running.
Kushwaha tried to hold them but a miscreant fire at him but the shot missed in the meanwhile the other police parties searched and managed to arrest Kashmira, Mahendra Singh Yadav and Sukhlal.
