Three miscreants involved in Bairagarh, Sanchi and Mandideep robberies were nabbed by the district police on Saturday and Rs1.23 lakh, mobile phone, a motorcycle and documents were recovered from their possession. Five miscreants involved in the robberies managed to escape and are still missing.
Police said during the course of investigation it was found that the pattern behind the robberies was same which suggests that the same gang was behind the robberies. later it was also revealed that Shatru alias Dubalia and Babu along with their relatives have committed the robberies. .Search for nabbing the miscreants was conducted around Jhabua as it was confirmed that miscreants are from Jhabua area.The arrested miscreants were identified as Babu (34), Antu Singh (25) and Peeku Singh (25). Babu and Antu are of Raisen while Peeku is from Jahbua.
Shatru alias Dubalia is a watch list criminal under Kalyanpura police station of Jhabua and is a habitual offender. He was booked for dacoity and robberies in Maharahstra and Gujarat.The miscreants confessed their committing robberies at Sukhi Sewania, Bairagarh and Mandideep.Five miscreants who managed to escape are Shatru(45), Alam(30), Jhitra(40), Chhatru(36) and Bhura(23).
Earlier on May 9 Neelesh Bharwani of Bairagarh was robbed of Rs2.5 lakh. In Mandideep around Rs5 lakh and a lap top was robbed from Ashok Jain on April 30. On May 25 a truck was robbed and Rs38,000 along with two mobile phones were also robbed by the gang at Sukhi Sewania.
