BK Hariprasad reaches Ranchi
Congress general secretary and in-charge of the party for Jharkhand BK Hariprasad arrived on Friday evening. The leader would meet on Saturday district presidents and party officials to take a stock of the worst ever poll performance in the State. The party had failed to open its account despite fielding candidates in as many as nine lok Sabha constituencies in Jharkhand.
GUV reviews meeting with eye bank trustees

Electricity worker compensated
HRD Minister Geetashree Oraon handed over a cheque of Rs 1.5 lakh to Sunita Tirkey, wife of Pawan Kumar Tirkey. Pawan, a daily wage electricity worker, had died on duty. Jharkhand Electricity Supply Workers Technical Association played pivotal role in making available assistance to the family.
Workshop at Sainik School
The six day ongoing workshop in Maths and English for Sainik schools teachers from all over India entered its second to last day on Friday. The workshop was conducted under the guidance of Prabbal Frank, Dr Balraj Nandwani, Dr AK Rajput, Dr RP Singh and Sunil Bajaj.
