The East Coast Railway has announced introduction of a new express train between Puri and Bikaner from April 24.
The 14710/14709 Puri-Bikaner-Puri Weekly Express will leave Puri at 5 am every Wednesday and arrive at Bikaner at 10.45 pm on Thursdays. In the return direction, the train will leave Bikaner at 5.15 pm every Sunday and arrive at Puri at 10.15 am every Tuesday.
However, on its maiden run the train was inaugurated from the Bikaner station on April 18 to run as a special train.
This train will have stoppages at Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Dhenkanal, Talcher Road, Angul, Boinda, Rairakhol, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Bilaspur, Anuppur, Shahdol, Katni Murwara, Damoh, Sagour, Ashok Nagar, Guna, Baran, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Banasthali Niwal, Durgapur, Jaipur, Phulera, Markana, Degana, Nagaur and Nokha.
