BJP Gajapati district president Tripati Nayak on Sunday alleged that due to the apathetic attitude of the Gajapati district Jawaharlal Nehru National Youth Centre (JNNYC) authorities various Government welfare schemes are not being implemented properly.
“We have never seen the nodal officer of the centre since its functioning. As many as 95 per cent of the locals have not even seen the office,” alleged Nayak, adding that while the JNNYC says it has dedicated itself to the cause of the youth for building a modern India, it has completely collapsed in Gajapati district.
He too urged the Government to take immediate measures to streamline the functioning of the JNNYC in order to ensure more participation of youth in the development process of the country. BJP Zilla Parishad member Antaryami Gamang too slammed the Government for its failure.
