Freshers' party organised at IEHE

The senior students of Institute for Excellence in Higher Education, Bhopal organised a dazzling freshers’ party at the college premises here on Tuesday to give a warm welcome to the new students.

The event was inaugurated by the Director of Institute for Excellence in Higher Education, Bhopal Pramila Maini by lighting the candles before Goddess Saraswati. She then gave a welcome speech to all the students present on the occasion and wished them luck for the future.

The programme was further followed by Ganpati Vandana presented by Menika Thakur and group.

The programme was further followed with a mesmerising solo performance by Aishwarya Dixit. Aishwaraya, notably performed a solo Kathak dance before the audience. She performed pure Kathak with best of her abilities leaving the audiences enthralled.

Not only this, but the students of different streams gave solo and group performances before the audiences and received huge applauses. The musical band of the college ‘Sound of the Silence’ presented few Bollywood songs and enthralled the audiences. As the band began playing, the audiences began applauding and sang along the band.

Further, students also performed a group fusion dance and also gave a spell binding performance on one of the most famous tracks of Bollywood of the sixties Are Ja Re Hat Natkhat Kyu Khole Mera Ghunghat. With this performance, not only the students but the faculty members also began tapping their feet.

later, the new students gave their introduction through a ramp walk. The excitement and thrill was clearly seen among the freshers, as they ramp walked and introduced themselves before the faculty and students.

On the occasion, Pramila Maini while addressing the students said, “These kinds of programmes bring out the hidden talent among the students and should be organised often.”

She further informed the students about the self defense training to be organised at the college. She further inaugurated the theater group ‘Aghaaz’ and gave information about other ongoing activities of the college.

The students had a blast at the freshers’ party. There was a grand dance party and the students tapped their feet on fast tracks of Bollywood songs. Further, they also enjoyed a delightful variety of eatables and took the pleasure of entering the college life.
