City development authority on Friday began registry and distribution of developed plots to landowners of Kamal Vihar. Six landowners were benefitted on the first day of the process.
First recipient in the line to get a plot was Balwindar Kaur. Subsequently, Nirupam Chakravarti, Sameeran Chakravarti, lakhameshwar Singh and Sharad Kumar Dubey received their plots and signed on the registry documents provided by the authority.
After receiving a nod from the Chief Election Officer two days back, CEO of the Raipur Development Authority (RDA) Amit Kataria had ordered his officers to begin the process of plot distribution, said public relations officer of RDA.
Plot measuring 773 square feet was allocated to Balwindar Kaur, 645 square feet plot to Nirupam Chakravarti, 773 square feet plot to Sameeran Chakravarti and plot measuring 645 square feet each was given to lakhameshwar Singh and Sharad Kumar. All these plots are located in Sector 6.
The process has come as a big relief to landowners of the controversial Kamal Vihar project. The RDA had contacted the landowners through phone and had invited them to the plot distribution and registry.
