Shashi Ranjan Prasad, Executive Director, BHEl, Bhopal on Monday inaugurated the online registration system for admission in Class KG-1 of Jawaharlal Nehru School (Primary Wing), in a simple function organised by BHEl Shiksha Mandal at BSM administrative centre.

Prasad in his Chief Guest address appreciated the efforts of BSM in making the registration system, go online. He further stressed to explore more systems where computerisation can streamline various activities.

Girish Shrivastava, General Manager (HR) & President, BSM, in his welcome address highlighted the achievements of the Schools of BSM. He further appraised the gathering about the advantages of on line admission system, wishing BSM triumph in their new ventures.

Informatics Division (IFX) under the expert guidance of Sanjeev Gupta, General Manager (PD & IT), and Mukesh Arora, AGM (IFX) has given shape & size to the online system.

Neelima Prasad, President, BHEl ladies Club present as the Guest of Honour on this occasion congratulated the BSM Team for the breakthrough achievement. On this occasion all General Managers, Senior Officials of BHEl, Principals, Vice Principals of BSM Institutions, BSM Staff and Representatives of various trade unions were present.

SB Singh, Secretary, BSM, conducted the programme and Anil Ojha, Vice President, BSM proposed the vote of thanks.

Meanwhile, under the banner of Quality month, the 30th Annual Quality Circle Convention of BHEl, Bhopal concluded today at BHEl Cultural hall, Piplani.  Shashi Ranjan Prasad, Executive Director, BHEl, Bhopal was present as the Chief Guest on this occasion.  DK Dikshit, General Manager, Quality; Padmashree Bl Chouksey, all General Managers, Department Heads, members of quality circle, and members of jury along with the facilitator, leader and Deputy leader of all the circles were also present. Around 225 circles of the 250 circles participated in the convention of which 28 circles were honoured at this juncture.

Prasad on this occasion honoured the winning quality circles. In the Manufacturing category Quality circle no 125, Press Shop won the 1st prize; Quality circle no.659, Finance Division won the 1st prize in the Support services category and Quality circle 542 of Medical Division were presented the 1st prize for their different area of work.

The 17 best co-ordinators of various quality circles were also felicitated during the programme. Prasad speaking on this occasion appreciated the efforts of the Quality circle activities functioning in the unit. He further expressed his desire to witness the progress carried out with the help of quality circle measures. DK Dikshit, General Quality speaking on this occasion appreciated the activities going on in the unit and expressed his satisfaction over the progress achieved in this direction.
