legendary martyr Shahid Bhagat Singh’s nephew Prof Jagamohan Singh will be attending the 12th Banka Behary Das memorial meeting here on July 28.
Utkala Bikasha Juba Parisad will organize a seminar ‘Chasa Kama Jahara, Ki Ananda Tahara - Odishare Kete Sata, Kete Michha’ on the occasion to pay a tribute to veteran socialist and farmer leader Banka Behary Das, who is the father of environment movement in Odisha. It will be addressed by farmer leaders lingaraj, Asok Pradhan, agriculture scientists Dr laxminarayan Kar, Pradeep Purohit , Utkal University Economics department HOD Mitali Chinara, journalist Arabinda Das, MlA Pratap Sarangi, The Sambad Editor Soumyaranjan Pattnaik and former Finance Minister and agriculture economist Panchanan Kanungo.
Radhakanta Sethi , Prafulla Samantara , Bijaya Mohapatra and Niranjan Pattnaik will attend the meeting as guests. Prof Jagmohan Singh, Naba Behera, Manoj Nayak, Bishnucharan Sadangi and Bijaya Pradhan will be felicitated, said a release.
