CM express grief over death of Kusum
Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has expressed profound grief over the death of freedom fighter Kusum Kant Jain. late Jain was a member of Indian Constituent Assembly. He was also a Member of Parliament and MlA and Minister during Madhya Bharat period. Chouhan has prayed to Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family to bear this loss.
Seminar on environment conservation to be held
Bhopal: A seminar on the ‘Role of voluntary organisations in environment conservation’ will he held here on June 5 to mark World Environment Day. About 700 representatives will participate in the seminar to be held at Samanvay Bhavan from 11 am. Planning, Economics and Statistics Minister and Vice-President of Jan-Abhiyan Parishad Raghavji will be the chief guest while Agriculture Minister Ramkrishna Kusmaria will preside over the seminar. Noted food security expert and environmentalist Devendra Sharma and UNDP Country Manager PS Sodhi will be special invitee. Parishad’s Vice-Presidents Pradeep Pandey and Ajay Shankar Mehta will also be present on the occasion. Seminars and symposiums are being held simultaneously at all 313 development blocks by Jan-Abhiyan Parishad to mark World Environment Day. At these seminars, people will be apprised of impacts of climat changes and awareness towards environment will be increased.
Govt ensures efforts for MP as developed state
Bhopal: State Government is ensuring all-out efforts to develop Madhya Pradesh as a developed State. In this context, 3 new tehsils were constituted, notification for constitution of 2 new tehsils was issued and 2 new tehsils were sanctioned by the cabinet in May. With opening of these 7 new tehsil offices, people living over there will start getting tahsil-level facilities and new vistas of development will open up. With effect from May 15, one tahsil each came into existence in Panna, Sidhi and Vidisha districts, respectively. New tahsil Simariya was constituted by reconstituting and including 31 Patwari Halkas of Simariya Revenue Circle. It will have total 31 Patwari Halkas and 64 villages. Simariya will be the tahsil headquarters. In Sidhi district, new tahsil Bahri was constituted by including 54 Patwari Halkas of Devgawan Revenue Circle. The tahsil headquartered at Bahri will comprise total 54 Patwari Halkas and 161 villages.
Water Dept provides online facility
Bhopal: Water Resources Department has provided online facility to move applications for transfer to its employees. It is the first department to do so in the state. The department has invited applications for transfer by June 7, 2013. Departmental Secretary Manish Singh has directed all chief engineers, superintending engineers and executive engineers of the department informing them that application forms for transfer can be downloaded from departmental website www.mpwred.gov.in. Concerning employee will have to fill up, sign and send the application in PDF format. later, the application form filled up in PDF format will have to be attached in ‘Transfer Request” on the portal. Bhopal: In a simple program held at BHEl administration building SR Prasad, ED, BHEl (Bhopal) bade farewell to Dr RK Agarwal, Chief Medical Services, Kasturba Hospital on attaining the superannuation age. Dr Agarwal after completing his MBBS in Medicine from Jhansi, in 1976 and MS in Orthopedics in 1981 from Kanpur joined BHEl, Bhopal in 1982. Prasad in his address threw light on various contributions of him at various posts and prayed for a happy retired life. On this occasion all GM’s and other senior officials were also present.

Gwalior: In a search drive in Central Jail 10 Pan Drive, one Sim, one unclaimed Mobile, Ganja and cash have been found. This material has been found with the inmates in a second search drive in a week in the Jail. The newly arrived Jail Supdt. Dinesh Nargave in the central Jail once again launched search drive to check the activities being conducted against the Jail rules and bring about improvement in the inmates and the system. The Jail supdt Gwalior Dinesh Nargave said that search drive in the Jail is a Continues process which is necessary to keep a watch on inmates as per Jail rules. No illegal activity would be allowed in the Jail.
