Attributing freedom given to students by the school as crucial, Ahana Maken, the topper of Humanities Stream at one of the best educational institutions in the Capital — Sanskriti School on Monday, revealed her success mantra. She said, "If one looks at the clock while studying then a time is set on your mind and one will feel tired after some time" she said.

Ahana, daughter of the Minister of Housing and Poverty Alleviation Ajay Maken, has scored 96.6 per cent in her Senior Secondary school examination. An elated Ahana further said, "I will be moving to Columbia University, New York to pursue a four-year integrated Under Graduation program." She has distinction marks in all five subjects: 100 in Psychology, 97 in History and Mathematics, 90 in English and 99 in Economics.

"The school gives freedom to the students to ask queries and gives them ample time to study and analyze things which makes studying all the more interesting and good" said Ahana.

In addition to Ahana's hard work, her proud mother Radhika Maken attributed credits of her success to her father as well. "Her father has always asked her to be focused and achieve her goal. He has always told them that power and perks that she has as a Minister's daughter, are all temporary. He has struggled from the age of 18, to be what he is today" she said.
