A 25-year-old woman was allegedly stalked and molested by a man in the Arera Hills area, prompting the police to register a case and launch an investigation.
According to the police, the accused, identified as Sahab Khan, is a catering contractor. The complainant, a divorcee, was previously engaged to Khan after a family arrangement.
However, her family later called off the engagement upon learning about his questionable conduct.Following the breakup, Khan allegedly began stalking and harassing the woman. Despite her repeated warnings, he continued to trouble her. Unable to bear the harassment any longer, the woman approached the Arera Hills police station and filed a complaint.
Based on her statement, the police registered a case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) related to stalking and molestation. Efforts are underway to trace the accused and take necessary legal action.
