Under the ambitious Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) 2.0 of the Central Government, Ranchi Municipal Corporation (RMC) has started the application process. Interested and eligible applicants can apply at the PMAY Help Center located at Ranchi Municipal Corporation office.

The PMAY Help Center is open every day from 8 am to 11 am and from 4 pm to 7 pm. Applicants can apply online through the PMAY application link by visiting the Ranchi Municipal Corporation website.

Ranchi Municipal Corporation has sought online applications from eligible beneficiaries under the Beneficiary Led Construction (BLC) component. In this regard, the Municipal Corporation has shared detailed information related to eligibility, required documents and application process.

Tthe PM Housing Scheme has come into effect from September 1, 2024 and its benefits will be given till 2029. The objective of the scheme is to provide cheap and pucca houses to the low income group people of the city.

Only a family consisting of husband, wife and unmarried children will be eligible apart from this no member of the family should have a permanent house in his/her name in any part of the Country and the annual family income of the applicant should be less than Rs 3 lakh.

 Aadhar Card which should be linked to mobile number, Aadhar Card of all family members, Passport size photo, income certificate which should be issued by CO, self declaration and affidavit, land documents (if land is available),  Photocopy of bank passbook and caste certificate (if applicable) are require while filling the application form to get the benefit of th4e housing scheme.
