CM Yogi Adityanath condemns trolling of Akhilesh Yadav's daughter, orders FIR

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has strongly condemned the online trolling and derogatory comments directed at Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav's daughter.
Taking a firm stand against the issue, the Chief Minister directed the police to register an FIR against those responsible for spreading objectionable and misleading content on social media.
Speaking on the matter, Yogi Adityanath said that daughters should never become targets of political rivalry or abusive public discourse.
He emphasized that respect and dignity for women must be upheld regardless of political affiliations and stated that such behavior was completely unacceptable.
Following complaints regarding defamatory social media posts, the police initiated action and registered a case through the cyber crime unit.
Authorities have begun investigating the accounts and individuals involved in circulating the content.
The incident has sparked a wider debate on political discourse and online abuse. While political differences between the BJP and Samajwadi Party remain sharp, Yogi's intervention was viewed as a call for maintaining basic decency and keeping family members, especially children, out of political attacks.
The development has drawn attention across the political spectrum, with leaders calling for stricter action against online harassment and the misuse of social media platforms for personal attacks.
