TVK may form alliance with AIADMK: DMK MP Kalanidhi

DMK MP Dr Kalanidhi Veeraswami said on Monday that to form a government, TVK chief Vijay would possibly form an alliance with AIADMK.
Speaking to reporters after meeting with Chief Minister MK Stalin and others at DMK headquarters, Anna Arivalayam here, Veeraswami said: “This is going to be a hung assembly. So we have to see how it’s going to pan out. Whether AIADMK is going to be supporting them (TVK), we’ll have to wait and watch.”
DMK MP Kanimozhi told reporters that her party chief had always reiterated that people’s verdict must be accepted gracefully.
“And we will have to retrospectively see what we have to do in the future. And whoever has voted, we will definitely work for them,” she said.
The TVK is likely to form a Government.
According to the Election Commission website, TVK has won 90 seats and is leading in 12 seats. Similarly, the AIADMK has won 42 seats and is leading in five seats. The DMK has won 50 seats and is leading in 10 seats. Elections to 234 Assembly seats were held on April 23.
