YEIDA approves key projects during 93rd board meeting

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) announced major infrastructure and policy decisions at its 93rd board meeting in Noida.
YEIDA reported a sharp rise in revenue, recording Rs 4,222.37 crore till mid-September in FY 2026-27, a 182.35% increase over the same period last year. Revenue from industrial and mixed-land schemes alone stood at Rs 2,420.7 crore, at 174.47% of the annual budget.
Total expenditure rose to Rs 5,501.71 crore, including Rs 4,344.34 crore for land acquisition and loan repayments. In a major policy move, the board approved the YEIDA Corpus Fund Investment Regulation 2026-27, which will ring-fence one-time lease rents and non-recurring receipts into a dedicated fund for long-term maintenance of roads, drainage, lighting and green belts.
To expand its industrial footprint under Master Plan 2041, YEIDA cleared the rollout of the Multi-Modal Logistics Park Policy-2024 through e-auctions. It also reviewed plans for an 8,000-hectare Industrial Node south of Noida International Airport and an International Trade City on the lines of Yiwu, China. On farmer welfare, YEIDA expedited 7% residential plot allotment to 10,069 landholders and released Rs 3,142 crore as additional 64.7% compensation.
