Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami launches ₹124 crore development projects in Champawat

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for development projects worth ₹124 crore during his visit to Champawat, reaffirming the state government's commitment to accelerating infrastructure and public welfare initiatives in the border district. The projects span multiple sectors, including roads, education, drinking water, tourism and civic infrastructure, aimed at improving connectivity and quality of life for residents.

Addressing a public gathering, Dhami said the state government is working with a vision of balanced regional development and ensuring that remote hill districts receive modern infrastructure and better public services. He added that the projects would strengthen the local economy, create employment opportunities and improve access to essential facilities for people in Champawat.

The Chief Minister also highlighted the government's focus on improving road connectivity, expanding tourism infrastructure and strengthening healthcare and educational institutions across Uttarakhand. He said these initiatives are part of the state's broader development agenda aimed at making Uttarakhand self-reliant while enhancing opportunities for local youth.

During the programme, Dhami interacted with local residents and reviewed the progress of ongoing development works.
