Trump warns Iran of consequences if it violates Interim Deal

US President Donald Trump has warned that Washington will take necessary action if Iran fails to comply with the terms of the recently signed interim agreement between the two countries.
Speaking to reporters, Trump said the United States expects Iran to honour its commitments under the deal reached last week with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian. "If Iran doesn't live up to their agreement, or if they're not behaving, I will do what I have to do," Trump said.
The interim agreement was signed more than three months after the conflict involving the US, Israel and Iran escalated tensions across the Middle East. The deal is aimed at reducing hostilities and creating a pathway for broader diplomatic engagement.
Trump also stated that funds being unfrozen under the agreement are intended to be used by Iran for purchasing food supplies, particularly from American producers. He claimed the arrangement would benefit US farmers while addressing Iran's food requirements.
The conflict and subsequent military exchanges in the region have resulted in significant casualties, displacement and economic disruption. The crisis has also impacted global financial markets and contributed to volatility in international oil prices.
Analysts are closely monitoring the implementation of the agreement, which is seen as a key step toward easing tensions in the region and preventing further escalation.
