Thar hits bike on Dwarka Expressway, flees scene

A Mahindra Thar Roxx knocked down a motorcycle on the Dwarka Expressway in Delhi and fled the spot without stopping, with the entire incident captured on the dashcam of a car travelling behind, according to viral footage circulating on social media.

The incident reportedly took place after 8 pm on Saturday. In the dashcam video, the Thar can be seen weaving through traffic in a zigzag manner before attempting to squeeze through a narrow gap between a car and a motorcycle.

The driver tried to force his way through the tight space between the two vehicles, and the SUV struck the bike during the manoeuvre, knocking down both the rider and the pillion passenger.

Both the motorcycle rider and the pillion passenger were injured in the accident. The Thar did not stop after the collision and drove away from the scene.

Delhi Police is collecting details about the accident. As of now, no complaint has been registered in Delhi in connection with the incident, and police are looking into the circumstances surrounding the crash as the video continues to spread online.
