Speeding dumper hits bus in Haridwar, woman killed and many injured in road accident

A tragic road accident in Haridwar’s Sapt Rishi area near Shantikunj claimed the life of a woman and left many others injured after a speeding dumper collided with a private bus carrying pilgrims on Monday morning.

According to officials, the bus carrying 45 passengers was returning to Rajasthan after a Ganga bath when it was hit from behind by a dumper. The impact caused the bus to overturn, while the dumper also lost control and crashed into a roadside dhaba. Fortunately, no one was present inside the dhaba at the time, preventing further casualties. Police have taken the dumper driver into custody and launched an investigation, with CCTV footage of the incident being examined.
