Shots fired outside Khan Sir Coaching Centre in Patna

Shots were fired outside the popular coaching institute run by educator and YouTuber Khan Sir in Bihar’s Patna, leaving a security guard injured and triggering protests by students, officials said.

The incident reportedly took place near Musallahpur Haat, where unidentified miscreants opened fire and carried out stone-pelting and vandalism outside the coaching centre. The injured guard is currently receiving treatment, police confirmed.

Following the incident, large groups of students gathered outside the institute, demanding strict action and enhanced security arrangements. Heavy police deployment was made in the area to maintain law and order.

Reacting to the attack, Khan Sir alleged that individuals linked to a nearby coaching institute were behind the incident, claiming prior threats had been issued against his centre. However, he later stated that the matter was still under investigation and details were not fully clear.

Police officials said CCTV footage from the area has been collected and statements of eyewitnesses are being recorded as part of the ongoing investigation.
