Sanjay Raut Urges Sena (UBT) Introspection, Says Loyalists Can't Be Taken for Granted

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut has called for introspection within the party following recent political setbacks and defections, saying loyal party workers should never be taken for granted. Speaking to reporters, Raut stressed that the need for self-assessment extended beyond the leadership to the entire organisation as it prepares for future political challenges.

Raut said the party must examine whether certain individuals were given excessive opportunities and positions of power, only to later abandon the organisation.

According to him, such decisions had demoralised dedicated workers who remained loyal to the party through difficult times. He emphasised that rebuilding the organisation would require recognising and rewarding committed cadre while learning from past mistakes.

His remarks come amid ongoing political turbulence within Shiv Sena (UBT), which has witnessed splits and defections in recent years.

The comments are being seen as a signal for organisational reforms as the party looks to strengthen its base ahead of future electoral battles. Raut maintained that honest introspection would help the party emerge stronger and restore the confidence of its workers and supporters.
