‘Parle Share Price’, ‘Melody Chocolate Price’ searches surge after PM Modi gifts toffee to Meloni

Internet searches for “Parle share price” and “Melody chocolate price” surged after Prime Minister Narendra Modi gifted a Melody toffee to Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni during his visit to Italy.
A video shared by Meloni on social media quickly went viral, showing PM Modi handing over the popular Indian candy to the Italian leader during an interaction in Rome.
Sharing the clip on X, Meloni wrote, “Thank you for the gift,” and described Melody as a “very, very good toffee.” The moment triggered a flood of reactions online, with many users jokingly searching for Parle shares and Melody prices.
The spike in Google searches reflected growing curiosity among users and investors about Parle Products, the company behind Melody. However, Parle Products is not a publicly listed company, meaning its shares are not traded on stock exchanges.
The viral exchange took place during PM Modi’s Italy visit, where Meloni hosted a dinner for the Indian Prime Minister and accompanied him on a visit to the iconic Colosseum ahead of formal bilateral discussions.
The light-hearted gesture once again drew attention to the friendly rapport between the two leaders, popularly referred to online as the “Melodi” moment by social media users.
