UM Nitin Gadkari and Delhi CM inspects Delhi-Mumbai Expressway connectivity projec

Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari on Tuesday inspected the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway connectivity project in New Delhi along with Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Minister of State Harsh Malhotra.
The inspection focused on the six-lane highway connectivity corridor linking Maharani Bagh to Jaitpur-Faridabad, which forms a crucial part of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway network.
Senior officials from the road transport ministry and project authorities were also present during the review of the infrastructure project aimed at improving connectivity and reducing traffic congestion in the national capital region.
The corridor is expected to provide faster travel between Delhi, Faridabad and the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, easing pressure on existing arterial roads and enhancing regional connectivity.
Officials reviewed the ongoing work, traffic management plans and operational readiness of the newly developed stretch during the site visit.
The Delhi-Mumbai Expressway is one of India’s largest highway infrastructure projects and is expected to significantly cut travel time between Delhi and Mumbai while boosting logistics and economic activity across multiple states.
