Ganga Acrowools Limited unveils Hand-Knitting Yarn Collection 2026

Ganga Acrowools Limited (GAL) hosted its ‘Premium Hand Knitting Yarns Collection 2026’ at Le Méridien, New Delhi, in collaboration with Heartbeats Premium Yarns.

The event brought together distributors, retailers, designers, self-help groups (SHGs), artisan communities and boutique entrepreneurs to celebrate India’s growing premium handmade craft economy.

Speaking at the event, Amit Thapar, President, Ganga Acrowools Limited, said that knitting and crochet in India are evolving beyond winter wear into categories such as home décor, gifting, boutique fashion and designer collaborations.

He added that Gen Z consumers, social media trends and the rise of slow fashion are driving crochet and knitting as new-age avenues for entrepreneurship and self-employment. The event also highlighted GAL’s community-focused initiatives through partnerships with NGOs and SHGs aimed at training and empowering women artisans.
