Discovering Türkiye’s culinary traditions through authentic cuisine

Anatolian means from or relating to Anatolia, the large historic region that makes up most of modern-day Türkiye (Turkey)
Anatolian cuisine carries centuries of culinary history, shaped by diverse cultures and traditions that have passed through the region. From handcrafted mezze and aromatic kebabs to traditional desserts, its food reflects the rich regional heritage of Türkiye, where recipes, flavours and hospitality have been passed down through generations.
Bringing this culinary legacy to the Capital, “A Taste of Anatolia”, an exclusive Turkish culinary festival at NYC, Radisson Blu Plaza Delhi Airport, offered diners a gastronomic journey through the rich and diverse culinary heritage of Türkiye. Curated by eighth-generation Ottoman Chef Gökhan Eser Kesen, the festival showcased traditional regional recipes, signature delicacies and the warmth of Turkish hospitality. The festival was inaugurated by His Excellency Ali Murat Ersoy, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to India, in the presence of diplomats, corporate leaders, media personalities and other distinguished guests. The occasion celebrated not only Turkish cuisine but also the enduring cultural ties between India and Türkiye. Guests were treated to a carefully crafted Anatolian feast featuring an array of handcrafted mezze, succulent traditional kebabs, regional specialities and iconic Turkish desserts. Each dish offered a glimpse into the culinary traditions that have shaped the region over generations.
The dining experience was complemented by a vibrant ambience inspired by the colours, aromas and traditions of Türkiye, transporting diners to the heart of Anatolia.
The festival also highlighted the growing appetite for authentic global culinary experiences in the Capital. Savouring the flavours of Anatolia in Delhi offered diners more than a meal; it became an experience celebrating culture, culinary craftsmanship and the enduring spirit of Turkish hospitality.
