Delhi YouTuber 'Road Safety Wala' arrested for allegedly targeting women riders for viral videos

Delhi Police have arrested Gurman Singh, a 32-year-old YouTuber who ran the social media channel "Road Safety Wala", for allegedly targeting women riders and minor girls by deliberately crashing into their two-wheelers and uploading videos of the incidents to gain views and followers.

According to police, the accused intentionally selected women and girls riding scooters or motorcycles, staged collisions, harassed them and recorded their reactions before posting the videos on YouTube and Facebook without their consent. Investigators said the content was created to attract online engagement and generate revenue.

The case came to light after a complaint was filed by the father of a minor girl, alleging that two men deliberately rammed into his daughter's scooter, stalked her and used abusive language. During the investigation, police found multiple videos allegedly showing similar incidents involving women riders. A case was subsequently registered under relevant provisions, including the POCSO Act.

Police said Gurman Singh's YouTube channel had over 72,000 subscribers, while his Facebook page had more than 2 lakh followers. Authorities have seized his mobile phone and are examining his social media accounts to identify additional victims and determine whether others were involved. The investigation is ongoing.
