CUET UG 2026 results declared; over 11.6 lakh candidates appeared

The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Tuesday announced the results of the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2026, paving the way for admissions to undergraduate programmes across 244 participating institutions for the 2026-27 academic session.
Candidates can access their scorecards through the official CUET portal using their application number and password. The results have been prepared on the basis of the final answer key released by the NTA on June 22.
According to official data, 15,68,867 candidates registered for the examination, while 11,64,098 candidates appeared for the test conducted across 321 cities between May 11 and June 7. This year's CUET UG covered 37 subjects, including languages, domain-specific papers and the General Aptitude Test (GAT).
The NTA revealed that only one candidate secured a 100 percentile score in four out of the five subjects opted for in the examination. The agency also reiterated that there will be no re-evaluation or re-checking of results after declaration.
While the NTA is responsible for conducting the examination and publishing scorecards, participating universities will prepare their own merit lists and counselling schedules based on CUET scores and admission criteria.
Students can now use their CUET UG 2026 scorecards to apply for admission to undergraduate courses offered by central, state, deemed and private universities participating in the common entrance process.
