Alakh Pandey funds free digital library in Greater Noida village for competitive exam aspirants

PhysicsWallah founder Alakh Pandey, popularly known as Alakh Sir, has established a free digital library at Sant Vinova School in Vaidpura village of Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, to support students preparing for competitive examinations.
The initiative aims to improve access to quality education in rural areas by providing students with books, digital resources and online learning facilities free of cost.
The digital library has been equipped with more than 30 laptops, over 1,000 books and specialised VR headsets using AR and VR technology to help students understand complex scientific concepts through immersive learning experiences.
Students preparing for engineering, medical and other competitive examinations will also get free access to PhysicsWallah’s online educational content and study materials through the facility.
The library will remain open daily from 8 AM to 8 PM and can be accessed free of cost by students from the village.
Speaking during the inauguration, Alakh Pandey said every student deserves equal opportunities regardless of internet access or financial background. He added that the initiative is aimed at bringing technology and educational resources directly to students in underserved communities.
He also expressed plans to open more free digital libraries across India in the future.
The initiative is being viewed as an effort to strengthen grassroots education and create accessible learning spaces for students in rural regions by bridging gaps in infrastructure, connectivity and educational exposure.
PhysicsWallah, founded by Alakh Pandey and Prateek Maheshwari in 2020, has grown into a major education platform offering online, offline and hybrid learning programmes across various educational segments.
