4 Minors feared drowned in Yamuna near Delhi's Alipur, search operation continues

4 minors are feared to have drowned in the Yamuna River after they were swept away by a strong current while bathing near Hiranki village in Delhi's Alipur area, police said.
The incident came to light on Sunday evening after police received a PCR call around 7:30 pm. According to officials, five minors had entered the river when four of them were caught in the strong current and went missing. The fifth child managed to raise an alarm.
A joint search and rescue operation involving the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Delhi Fire Services, and local police has been underway since Sunday evening and continued for a second day on Monday.
Officials said no bodies had been recovered till the latest reports, and rescue teams were continuing efforts to trace the missing children.
