Putin tells Xi Russia-China ties have reached ‘Unprecedented High Level’

Russian President Vladimir Putin has told Chinese President Xi Jinping that relations between Russia and China have reached an “unprecedentedly high level” during talks in Beijing.
The two leaders met during an official ceremony where they discussed strengthening strategic cooperation across multiple sectors, including energy, trade, and technology.
Putin said Russia is ready to ensure continued and uninterrupted supplies of oil and gas to China, highlighting the growing energy partnership between the two countries.
Xi Jinping described bilateral relations as having reached the “highest level of comprehensive strategic partnership,” stressing mutual support and closer coordination on global issues.
Both leaders also signalled deeper cooperation in emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and reaffirmed their shared stance on opposing unilateral global influence.
The visit underscores the continuing strengthening of Russia-China ties amid shifting global alliances and ongoing Western sanctions on Moscow.
