PM Narendra Modi credits BJP workers for party’s strong showing in West Bengal Assembly Elections 2026

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has attributed the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) “record victory” in the West Bengal Assembly Elections 2026 to the sustained efforts and dedication of party workers across the state.
Speaking on the electoral outcome, the Prime Minister said the result reflects the hard work of countless Karyakartas over the years, who consistently worked on the ground to strengthen the party’s outreach and promote its development agenda.
He acknowledged that BJP workers have faced several challenges in West Bengal over a long period but continued to remain committed to the organisation’s ideology and goals. According to him, their perseverance has been the driving force behind the party’s growing support in the state.
The statement comes as the BJP registers significant gains in the ongoing West Bengal Assembly Elections 2026, marking one of its strongest performances in the state in recent years.
Party leaders have also echoed similar sentiments, crediting grassroots mobilisation and sustained organisational work for the improved electoral outcome.
