Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Ganga Expressway in Uttar Pradesh on April 29 in Hardoi district, an official statement announced on Saturday. The 594-km-long expressway, one of the flagship projects of the Yogi Adityanath government, will connect Meerut to Prayagraj. The expressway will pass through 12 districts — Meerut, Hapur, Bulandshahr, Amroha, Sambhal, Badaun, Shahjahanpur, Hardoi, Unnao, Rae Bareli, Pratapgarh and Prayagraj — and is expected to benefit over 500 villages by boosting economic activity in both rural and urban areas.

It has, however, not yet been decided which House the notice would be moved in, or whether it would be introduced in both Houses as was done last time, the source added.
