NIA raids 20 locations across multiple states in RSS office bomb hurling case

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday carried out coordinated searches at 20 locations across multiple states as part of its investigation into the bomb hurling incident at an RSS office, intensifying its crackdown on those linked to the conspiracy behind the attack.
According to officials, the searches were conducted at the premises of suspects believed to be connected with the planning, execution and logistical support for the bomb attack. Teams of the anti-terror agency seized digital devices, documents and other incriminating materials that are expected to aid the ongoing investigation.
The case relates to the bomb hurling incident targeting a Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) office. The NIA, which took over the probe due to its terror-related implications, is examining the wider conspiracy, the network of accused persons and possible links extending across different states.
Officials said the nationwide operation is aimed at identifying all individuals involved in the planning and execution of the attack, including those who may have provided shelter, funding or other forms of assistance. The agency is also analysing the seized electronic evidence to trace communication between the suspects and uncover the full extent of the network.
The NIA has stepped up investigations into several terror-related cases in recent months, carrying out coordinated searches and arrests across the country to dismantle extremist networks and prevent future attacks. Further investigation in the RSS office bomb hurling case is underway.
