Kamrup MLAs chair vigilance review meet

A review meeting of the District Level Vigilance & Monitoring Committee (DLV&MC) under the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, was held on Friday at the Conference Hall of the Integrated District Commissioner’s Office, Amingaon.
The meeting was chaired by MLA of Boko Chaygaon, Raju Mesh, and MLA of Palashbari, Himangshu Shekhar Baishya, in the presence of District Commissioner Deba Kumar Mishra.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the status of home visits, measuring efficiency, ABHA-verified status, APAAR ID and the status of AWCs for 21 days in the Poshan Tracker, as well as the progress of works under NIDA-1 and the 1st and 2nd phase of RIDF.
The MLAs stressed the need for the timely completion of all ongoing works and directed the concerned officials to ensure effective implementation and monitoring of the schemes and initiatives.
Addressing the meeting, the District Commissioner urged all departments and officials concerned to work proactively on the issues discussed and focus on generating greater public awareness regarding the schemes and services.
The meeting was attended by ADC Geetashri Lachit, the District Social Welfare Officer, all Block Development Officers, Child Development Project Officers, officials of the District Administration and representatives of the MLAs under Kamrup district.
