IITDAA hosts its 12th Alumni Day

The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi Alumni Association (IITDAA) hosted its 12th Alumni Day at the IIT Delhi campus, bringing together alumni, industry leaders, entrepreneurs, artists, and students to celebrate excellence, innovation, and lifelong connections.
With nearly 65,000 alumni worldwide, the event reaffirmed IIT Delhi’s strong alumni ecosystem and its role in mentorship, collaboration, and nation-building.
The programme featured keynote addresses by Prof. Vivek V. Buwa, Kalpen Shukla, and Shashank Mani Tripathi, MP, highlighting IIT Delhi’s contribution to leadership and innovation.
Key highlights included the Startup Club Showcase & Funding Pitch, a fireside chat with Kapil Bharati (Co-Founder, Delhivery), insightful knowledge sessions on AI, sustainability, women leadership, and incubation pathways, and vibrant cultural performances. Stand-up comedian Aashish Solanki, Kavi Sammelan 2025, and a live concert by Akhil Sachdeva added energy to the celebrations.
The day also marked Diamond Jubilee celebrations of the 1966 and 1967 batches and the Silver Jubilee of the 2000 batch, rekindling memories and strengthening alumni bonds.
Alumni Day 2025 once again reflected IIT Delhi’s enduring spirit of Engage, Enrich, and Empower.
