The Home Ministry suspended Manasvi Vashishtha with immediate effect after police personnel rallied over the transfer of the ACP and the Shahdara SHO following the clash with lawyers.
The fire broke out at a house in Vivek Vihar Phase-I at 8.11 am, following which four fire tenders were rushed to the spot, Delhi Fire Services (DFS) said.
